Baby Galloway

Thirteen years ago, I heard a voice yell across the The Set at Florida A&M, “HEYDC”! I turn around and there is Neesie waving and smiling at me. We met at freshman orientation but we didn’t remember each others names but she knew what I would answer to.

Thirteen years later, here we are. She married the love of her life almost 2 years ago to the date and they had their son less than 24 hours ago.

Saturday morning we met up for a quick maternity session before I had to rush off to shoot a wedding. Around 10pm, I got a text that her water broke! Phew…Thank goodness we didn’t let another day pass! Anyway, here are a few from our maternity session and a few of Baby Galloway at about 12 hours old. All 9lbs 13oz of him!

I love you guys with all my heart!

Behind the Super Hero Shoot with Doug Sonders!

What happens when you have a group of photographers, a good looking guy in super hero costume, and some villians??? A good time, a whole lot of laughs, and ton of creativity!  My kind of people.  Anybody that really knows me knows that I love meeting new people no matter what they do for a career but I loooooove other creatives. I can not wait to see the final product that Doug produces from this shoot.  In the meantime please check out his skills at Douglas Sonders Photography!

Easter Sunday

Every year, our friend’s host an Easter Egg hunt for all of the children of their friends and family. On the way home, the afternoon thunderstorm clouds started to roll in but the sun found a peek through every now and again. Luckily my husband was driving, so I dug my camera out of the back seat of our car and this is what I got….

She said YES…. Melanie and Dewey

What a beautiful Sunday to witness such a beautiful moment. I was so excited when Dewey called to ask if I would take pictures of him proposing to his girlfriend! Um…. heck yeah! What girl doesn’t like a good love story and I would get to photograph it!

The staff at The Hillwood Estate Museum and Gardens was so great and I think every single staff member was in on the surprise! When all was said and done, Melanie was very surprised and I think even more surprised to see 2 photographers and a videographer jump out of the bushes! LOL  Dewey did and AWESOME job putting this special day together. Congratulations to you both!
